CURRENT BOOK: 'Power and the Passion: Our Ancestors Return Home' (Shannon Faulkhead & Jim Berg, 2010)
CURRENT MAGAZINE: Medical Journal of Australia (2 May 2011 issue)
MOST RECENT FILM/DVD: 'Bandidas' (2006). A western whose two main characters are women (smoulderingly played by Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz). This movie's so light it almost floats away. But it's entertaining - especially for a postoperative cardiac surgery patient, his Sweetheart Vivienne and his darling Meg. My verdict: ★★
