I don’t care if you spell it der-brain, derr-brain, dur-brain, durr-brain or duh-brain. It means the same thing: someone with poor judgement and little intelligence. Though the Palestinian Authority [PA] is not a person, to me it’s still a der-brain. In 1996 Palestinian terrorists murdered 25-year-old American citizens Yaron and Efrat Ungar (pictured). In 2004 in the US Supreme Court, the couple’s family sued Hamas and the PA for their murder. The Court ordered the PA to pay US$116m to the couple’s family who then petitioned the Jerusalem District Court to enforce the US Court’s ruling in Israel. The PA counter-petitioned, claiming the verdict’s enforcement would adversely affect it; especially, paying compensation to the families of these and other terror victims could bankrupt it. Last Monday the Jerusalem District Court decided the US verdict was enforceable in Israel, despite Palestinian objections. The Judge opined: ‘How can one accept the claim that a legal ruling should not be enforced because it might hurt the perpetrator financially? Should we not punish convicted persons for no other reason than that it might cause their bankruptcy?’ What do these terrorists think – that they can kill innocent Jews with impunity? Let them now think otherwise. They’re demonstrably immune to their religion’s moral teachings. So now their der-brained, impotent terrorist activities will hurt them where they feel it – in their treasury. Amen.
